Lionel’s inspiration is rooted in a rich architectural legacy. He is the grandson of André Dahan, former Architect Commissioner of the City of Strasbourg, France — a civic visionary whose contributions helped shape the city’s modern identity. Dahan’s notable achievements include a collaboration with Le Corbusier on an early concept for the Strasbourg convention center, later realized as the iconic Palais des Congrès, as well as the design of the Stade de la Meinau, one of Europe's largest and most modern soccer stadiums at the time. As a child, Lionel often accompanied his grandfather to construction sites and project meetings, where he developed a deep appreciation for architecture’s technical rigor, civic responsibility, and emotional impact. This rare exposure to large-scale public projects and modernist vision continues to inform Lionel’s approach today — balancing heritage with innovation.

As a pioneer in site-responsive design, Lionel integrates advanced technologies like BIM (Building Information Modeling) or LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) to capture precise 3D spatial data of buildings and natural landscapes.
